  • Mental Wellbeing: Friction at work can lead to a staggering 38% decrease in mental wellbeing. We all deserve to feel good about where we work!
  • Engagement Rates: A 31% drop was noted among those experiencing friction.
  • Performance Levels: 21% decrease in performance linked to workplace chaos.
  • Discretionary Effort: Lastly, friction contributes to a 10% dip in the extra effort employees might give.

A Closer Look at New Hires:

  • Employees in their first six months have the lowest intent to stay at just 38%, a striking gap from the overall average of 65%.
  • 39% of employees are contemplating leaving within the next 12 months—a six-point jump from last year.
