SAARRAH MATHINTHIRAN

General Manager & Management Consultant

Saarrah Mathinthiran gained experience in finance and developed her systems and process improvement skills at different Western Australian SMEs.

Saarrah has extensive experience in recruiting, placing talent ranging from CEO level to technical and administration. She also provides financial analysis advice for our turn-around, transformation and acquisition clients.

Saarrah graduated from ISC Paris with a Masters in Finance and has a Masters in Human Resources and Employment Relations from the University of Western Australia.

She co-founded marvinHR with Nick Marvin in 2020 post the Covid pandemic with a focus on human-centric recruitment and HR advisory.

Madhuri Vellayan

MADHURI VELLAYAN

LEAD - Accounting Talent

Madhuri graduated with a Bachelor’s in Commerce Degree majoring in Human Resource Management and Management from the University of Western Australia.

During her university degree, she gained experience in the hospitality industry and values customer service as a priority. She has worked as an ISS educator at after-hours school care where she developed several classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Prior to joining marvin Consulting as an associate, Madhuri spent some time in the accounting sector

Ella Barwood

LEAD - Legal Talent

Ella Barwood graduated with a double degree: a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a major in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a major in Psychology. 

For over four years, she has actively participated in the Human Resource Student Association, which helped her to develop her human resource management skills and establish valuable connections with industry professionals. Before working at marvirHR, Ella gained over five years of experience in customer service and social media marketing. Her proven track record in these areas has been an asset to her current role as a HR Consultant.

Pip Marvin

Talent Research Assistant

Perpetua Marvin has completed a Certificate III in business administration and a Certificate IV in Legal Studies from North Metropolitan TAFE.

Perpetua has gained experience sourcing talent specialising in real estate, education, law, accounting, and health. She operates data management containing talent information.

Perpetua also conducts social media screening of applicants we come across.

Warwick D'Silva

LEAD - Resources Talent

Warwick graduated with double degree in Commerce and Applied Geology from Curtin University. During his studies he worked in IT for the University. Following his graduation he has worked for an engineering company as well as in consulting. Through these experiences Warwick has developed his personal communication skills, networking, and analytical skills.

During Covid with Warwick’s personal interest in outreach and developing interpersonal skills whilst working, he completed his Master’s in Social Work at the University of Western Australia.

Disha Purohit

Disha Purohit is currently completing her degree in Business Psychology at the University of Western Australia, set to finish her education in just six months. She is dedicated to integrating her academic knowledge with practical experience. 

During her university studies, Disha gained over a year of valuable customer service experience, enhancing her understanding of consumer behaviour and service excellence.

Prior to her current role as a Junior Recruitment Consultant at Marvin HR, Disha dedicated time to the talent acquisition sector, gaining insights into recruitment strategies and practices.

 Looking forward, Disha is passionate about leveraging her education in Business Psychology to contribute to innovative solutions in human resources and organisational development, with a focus on fostering positive work environments and maximising individual and team performance.

John Dasey

Admitted to legal practice in 2009, John Dasey has over 30 years hands- on experience in Workplace Relations and Human Resources.

After initially working for employee organisations, he was a senior HR leader in large commercial organisations for more than a decade, before establishing Dasey Legal in 2018.

Applying a practical approach and a deep knowledge of employment matters, John’s goal is to add value whenever he provides a service.

  • Examples include:
    Creation of readable plain English employment contracts and policies
  • Advice on enterprise bargaining
  • Advice on award coverage and interpretation of industrial instruments
  • Representation in court or Fair Work Commission matters
  • Conducting investigation- employee and customer complaints, misconduct etc.

Nick Marvin

NICK MARVIN

Nick Marvin is a keynote speaker, management consultant and non-executive director with over 20 years of experience, specialising in organisational transformation through high-performing teams.  


Under Jack Bendat, he led the resurgence of the Perth Wildcats  (PDF) in 2009, the demerger and privatisation of the National Basketball League (PDF) in 2013 and the re-launch of the Perth Lynx (the first team in Australia to pay female athletes a full-time wage | PDF) in 2015. In 2017, Andrew Forrest appointed him CEO  of the Western Force and World Series Rugby.

Bob Hunter

An experienced executive leadership and change  management consultant, Bob Hunter is an expert in the field of team development and performance enhancement for individuals and organisations alike.

Bob’s early working life saw him serve for 16 years in the Australian Army, primarily in the SAS as a Troop and Squadron Commander, in the Parachute Battalion and as a United Nations military observer in the Middle East (Israel).    During his service with the SAS, Bob was directly involved in all aspects of Australia’s Special Forces – National Counter Terrorism Crisis Management and Response Arrangements.   He also served on operations in Cambodia and Bougainville.  Bob was the Squadron Commander of the SAS unit involved in the tragic Blackhawk accident in 1996 and responsible for the immediate recovery of the unit after this tragic accident.   

As a recent CEO of a SSA, Rugby WA, he has lead a sport from its recovery post the loss of a professional sports team, the Western Force, and the transition back to financial viability of the community game.   This includes extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and management while developing future pathways in the transformation of the sport.
